Nickie is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians. She joined the Animal Medical Center team in August of 2004. Nickie graduated from Tascosa High School, WTAMU, and Cedar Valley Technical college. She received her Bachelors in Animal science, her associates in social science, and veterinary technology. Nickie is certified in animal behavior, dentistry, animal nursing, orthopedic therapy, and  has a master class certification in euthanasia. Her and her husband Jared have 17 cats, 8 dogs, and 108 farm and exotic animals. In her free time she enjoys animal husbandry, painting pet portraits, plants, animal rescue, makeup, and fashion.  Nickie loves to be colorful in her hair, makeup, and clothes. She loves all species of animals and has adopted two of our clinic cats. Nickie's favorite parts of working at Animal Medical Center are being able to help educate clients and their pets, bonding with clients and encouraging the next generation of technicians.
