Immunizations

Vaccines form the core of protection for the health of your pets. Many of the diseases that vaccines provide protection could be life-threatening. As many of you know, vaccinations schedules for your pet are now becoming more designed for each individual pet. It will depend on age, possible exposure to certain diseases such as being outdoors, grooming, taking walks, boarding etc. Some need to be given twice yearly while others may need to be given only once every 3 years. Be sure to discuss your pet's situation and what vaccines are best for them with our veterinarians. Vaccinations offered at our clinic for your cat include Rabies, Feline Leukemia, Rhinotracheitis and Calici (serious air born respiratory diseases), and Rabies. Vaccines for dogs include Parvo, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza, Kennel Cough or Bordetella, and Rabies. There are other such as Lymes Disease and Rattlesnake vaccine that we offer, but only for special situations of exposure.
